1. Information we collect
We may collect your name, email, telephone or WhatsApp number, flight information, dates, locations, passenger count, requested vehicle, itinerary interests, notes, IP or device information, form timestamps and correspondence. Documents such as passports and driving licences should be provided only through a channel specifically requested by Rushmore and not entered into open notes fields.
2. Why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, assess eligibility and availability, prepare quotations, coordinate pickup or service, prevent fraud, keep operational records, meet legal obligations, improve the website and protect Rushmore, customers and the public. We do not treat a website enquiry as permission for unrelated marketing unless you separately consent.
3. Legal basis and consent
Depending on the situation, processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract, perform an agreement, comply with law, protect legitimate operational and security interests, or act on your consent. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
4. Sharing and processors
Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with Rushmore personnel, vehicle or transport providers, insurers, payment providers, IT, hosting, form-delivery and email services, professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement or other parties required to fulfil the request or comply with law. Website request forms may use a third-party delivery processor. Each provider processes information under its own security and privacy terms.
5. International processing
Some technology, email or service providers may process data outside Jordan. Where applicable, Rushmore will use reasonable contractual, organisational and technical safeguards and limit information to what is necessary for the stated purpose.
6. Retention
We retain enquiry and transaction information only as long as reasonably needed for the request, contractual and accounting records, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Unconfirmed enquiry data should be periodically reviewed and securely deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards. No website, email or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not submit payment-card details, passport copies or sensitive information through free-text website fields.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and lawful exceptions, you may request access, correction, updating, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent or deletion of personal information. We may need to verify identity before acting. Some records must be retained for legal or contractual reasons.
9. Cookies and analytics
The site may use essential storage for security and functionality and, if enabled, limited analytics to understand site performance. Non-essential cookies should not be activated without the notice or consent required by applicable law. Browser controls can restrict cookies, although some features may not work correctly.
10. Children
The website is not directed to children and vehicle requests must be submitted by an adult. Do not provide a child’s personal information unless it is necessary for a requested service, such as a child seat, and you are authorised to do so.
11. Third-party links
Links to Tripadvisor, Google, official tourism resources, maps or other sites are governed by those sites’ privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
12. Contact and complaints
Send privacy requests to info@rushmorejo.com. Include enough information to identify the request but do not email unnecessary identity documents. You may also have the right to contact the competent Jordanian data-protection authority.
